Brook Lopez admits there was a feeling of “disbelief” and “shock” in the Milwaukee Bucks' locker room after they lost four games in a row to the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals.

Milwaukee had a 2-0 lead in the series. Kawhi Leonard then led the Raptors to four straight wins, propelling Toronto to the NBA Finals and sending the Bucks home.

“I didn't watch any of the games after we were knocked out,” Lopez told Bucks.com. “It's kind of tough to handle for me personally. There was definitely a feeling of like disbelief and shock kind of in the locker room and just thinking like kind of what happened.”

Milwaukee had the best record in the NBA during the regular season, and everyone thought they were well on their way to the Finals after taking a 2-0 lead in the Conference Finals series. It just goes to show elite players such as Leonard can never be taken for granted.

Brook Lopez and the Bucks are going to be very motivated to redeem themselves in 2019-20. Now that Leonard is in the Western Conference on the Los Angeles Clippers, many pundits believe the East is Milwaukee's to lose.

We'll see if Lopez and the rest of his teammates can take advantage of Leonard not being in the Eastern Conference anymore.
