By going 7-of-12 from beyond the arc on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez made NBA history.

Brook Lopez is now the first center in NBA history to make at least seven 3-pointers in back-to-back games. The 7-footer went 7-of-15 in his previous game against his old team, the Brooklyn Nets:

During the 2015-16 season when he was still in Brooklyn, Brook Lopez made a total of two shots from deep. Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson told Lopez that he was going to have to start hitting shots from beyond the arc to survive in this league because the NBA is drifting away from the conventional post up big man.

So, the next season, Brook Lopez made 134 3-pointers with the Nets. He hit 112 the following season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he's now at 95 on the year after this game on Tuesday.

It's remarkable how Lopez has changed his game and become a lethal stretch shooter. The 11-year veteran often says Kenny Atkinson is the main reason he was able to shoot with confidence from long range because his coach believed in him.

Brook Lopez entered Tuesday shooting 36.2 percent from beyond the arc. He's sixth on the Bucks in 3-point percentage and second on the team in 3-point field goal attempts per game.
