Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo may have been the talk of the town this season, and he may have just taken home his first MVP award, but now, things are about to get tougher.

Fox Sports analyst Chris Broussard feels there will be a ton of pressure on Antetokounmpo heading into next year:

Broussard absolutely makes a lot of good points.

Now that Antetokounmpo has won an MVP award, he is no longer just a star player on the rise. He has been universally recognized as one of the best players in the league, and with that comes the added responsibility of leading your team to a championship.

He also was certainly outplayed by Kawhi Leonard in the Bucks' Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors, as Antetokounmpo's lack of a perimeter shot served as a crippling problem in the six-game defeat.

And as for Giannis not having a second star alongside of him, that is a big reason why some people simply could not pick the Bucks to get to the finals this past year, as their lack of depth did end up showing itself to be an issue against the Raptors.

Antetokounmpo is unquestionably a terrific player and is one of the best talents in the league, but there are also some holes in his game that he absolutely needs to begin shoring up this summer to reach that next level.

Also, the fact that the Bucks lost Malcolm Brogdon this offseason and didn't do much to replace him only puts more pressure on Giannis to be that much more spectacular in 2020.
