During his IG live segment on Friday, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade was asked to describe his mindset when he was trying to guard Milwaukee Bucks superstar small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo in the post.

Wade's wife, Gabrielle Union, brought up a game where Wade was guarding Giannis in crunch time. D-Wade spoke about how he would try and stop the Bucks star with the game on the line:

“Well, it's all about like knowing the scouting report for me, right,” Dwyane Wade said. “I can't guard Giannis (Antetokounmpo) one-on-one. It's all about knowing a scouting report and just what a guy go to move is. Especially when you get towards the end of the game, a guy gonna go to what their strengths are. They not gonna go to something they just started working on, they gonna go to something that's been their strength.

“So for me, at the end of the game, I've been a good defender especially because I know what guys strengths are.”

This is good advice from Wade. Bucks opponents should try and study Giannis' tendencies so they know what to expect.

However, even when you know what is coming, the Bucks superstar is still able to get by you and score. The Greek Freak was averaging 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists for the Bucks before the season was suspended due to COVID-19.

Just like last season, Giannis and the Bucks had the best record in the NBA. If the season resumes, Milwaukee will have a good shot of winning the title.
