Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo spent three hours with Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry to discuss the season and the future, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes first reported Saturday that a meeting took place.

Specifically, the get-together talked about how the Bucks can improve their roster and confirmed that ownership is willing to spend into the luxury tax. There will be another meeting once Giannis returns from a vacation.

This Giannis Antetokounmpo meeting occurred amid an Instagram unfollowing spree, which naturally caused plenty of speculation about The Greek Freak's future with the franchise. The Bucks star unfollowed a number of accounts, including the official team account and teammates, and is now just following accounts tied to close family members.

The Defensive Player of the Year broke a lengthy Twitter hiatus on Sunday night, tweeting several photos with his trophy and expressing how thankful he is about the award. Several photos included one or more of his brothers, and another featured Mike Budenholzer and Brook Lopez.

This all comes after Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks suffered a disappointing second-round loss to the Miami Heat. The likely two-time MVP missed part of Game 4 and all of Game 5 with an ankle injury.

Afterward, the Bucks star firmly stated that he has no plans to request a trade this offseason. Milwaukee plans to offer a supermax contract, but it's unclear if he's going to sign it. The Bucks are hoping these meetings will convince him to sign on the dotted line.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Watch is going to be a storyline all offseason until he makes a decision on that supermax deal. Even if he doesn't sign, there's a good chance he stays with the Bucks for another playoff run, which would then set up a blockbuster free agency in 2021.
