After Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo hurt his ankle again in Game 4 in the second quarter, he surprisingly said he should have “dunked” the ball instead of going for a layup in heavy traffic.

That's at least what Bucks veteran point guard George Hill told reporters on Monday during his media session:

Giannis Antetokounmpo was wearing a walking boot after Game 4. He's going to be a game-time decision for Game 5 on Tuesday. The reigning MVP scored 19 points in only 11 minutes in Game 4 before getting hurt again.

Fortunately for Giannis, George Hill and the rest of the Bucks players picked up the slack and essentially won Game 4 for Antetokounmpo, who is beloved by his teammates. Hill finished with 12 points, five rebounds and three assists in Game 4, while All-Star swingman Khris Middleton carried the team with 36 points, eight boards and eight assists. Middleton dominated in the overtime period and hit a dagger 3-pointer to help put the game away.

Despite winning Game 4, though, the odds of the Bucks winning Game 5 are still low, even if Giannis plays. The Heat are a bad matchup for Milwaukee, and fans can expect Miami to come out like gangbusters in Game 5 after blowing a golden chance in Game 4 to end the series. Several Heat players lamented how they played after the Bucks star left the game. They know they blew it, especially after building an eight-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Bucks fans are praying Antetokounmpo will be able to play in Game 5. They are also holding out hope that Milwaukee can make NBA history and become the first team ever to erase a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.
