George Hill, who's now a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, recently took a physical exam and is itching to play for his new team.

Per Matt Velazquez of the Journal Sentinel, Hill gave an update on his injured shoulder:

Hill was part of a three-team deal between the Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Washington Wizards. The veteran Hill and Sam Dekker were sent to the Bucks. Meanwhile, Matthew Dellavedova, John Henson, and a pair of 2021 draft picks were sent to the wine and gold. Finally, Jason Smith and a future second-round pick were sent to the Wizards for Dekker.

The Bucks are Hill's sixth team in his 11 years in the NBA. For the season, he's averaging 10.8 points and 2.8 assists in 26.5 minutes per game. Prior to his injury, he was the Cavs' starting point guard and was tasked to guide rookie guard Collin Sexton.

It's a reunion for Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer and George Hill. The two spent three seasons together with the San Antonio Spurs, where Budenholzer was an assistant to Gregg Popovich. On what Hill can offer to the Bucks, Budenholzer said:

“(Hill) is another guy that can defend multiple positions, help us on that end of the court,” Budenholzer said. “I think he takes great individual pride in his defense. Then offensively, another guy that can play pick-and-roll, can attack the paint and score there and play with spacing and make spot-up shots. …”

Once cleared by the medical staff, George Hill may make his debut on Monday as the Bucks face his old team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
