Free agent forward Gerald Green has agreed to a non-guaranteed deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The 10-year veteran has had a couple of down years with the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics, struggling to hit from the field, shooting barely at the 40 percent mark during the past two seasons.

Green is still considered an elite athlete and a capable marksman, shooting 40 percent from deep just three seasons ago during his best career stint with the Phoenix Suns.

Among the likes of Brandon Rush, Green will compete for that versatile guard/forward combo spot to fill needs in the wing.

Green had his best seasons when he was able to garner ample minutes, but he'd need to hit the ground running in this training camp in order to snatch a roster spot away from all the hungry veterans hopeful to make the team.

The Bucks were marred with injuries last season, from Khris Middleton suffering a freak injury to Jabari Parker tearing his ACL yet again, still recovering from the process. This time around, the team will hope to have enough multi-positional weapons in case the same situation arises again.

Green holds career averages of 9.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
