The Milwaukee Bucks struggled mightily in their Game 2 loss to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday and it is clear that the defending champs are missing the services of their injured All-Star swingman Khris Middleton. The Bucks need him back at the soonest possible time and apparently, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. just might get their wish.

According to a press release from the Bucks posted on NBA.com, Middleton “continues to make steady progress on his left knee injury rehabilitation.” Middleton has already been ruled out for Games 3 and 4 in Milwaukee but when asked about his star's availability beyond those two games, Bucks head coach Mike Buddenholzer had a cryptic two-word response:

“We'll see,” Budonholzer said.

This could be nothing but it's also quite interesting to note that coach Bud has refused to rule Middleton out for Game 5. The three-time All-Star is still dealing with a lingering knee injury and he is expected to miss the entire Celtics series. However, this recent development could be good for the Bucks.

What you can be sure of here is that Milwaukee won't force Middleton back unless he's ready. The Bucks are looking at the bigger picture here and they do not want to risk the health of any one of their players.
