Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo went from most Valuable Player to Most Valuable Dad!

Giannis recently celebrated his $228 million super-max extension in the best possible way: by picking up some new toys and clothes for his baby son, Liam.

“Bought a lot of toys for Liam. Bought a lot of clothes for Liam,” the Bucks star said when asked what he did after signing the deal, via The Athletic's Eric Nehm.

The two-time MVP and reigning Defensive Player of the Year gifted the city of Milwaukee and the Bucks franchise the greatest possible Christmas present on Tuesday by inking the supermax extension. The deal will keep Antetokounmpo tied to Milwaukee for five more seasons after the 2020-21 campaign.

Had Antetokounmpo and the Bucks not agreed to a deal before the Dec. 21 deadline, the superstar would have hit unrestricted free agency in the summer of 2021.

Liam, Giannis' first child, was born in February 2020. Now that his dad re-upped for the long-term, Liam will spend the first few years of his life as a Wisconsin resident.

It has been a good couple of weeks for the Greek Freak. Last Thursday, the Walt Disney Company formally announced that his incredible life story would be made into an original movie for Disney+ during its Investor Day presentation.

Antetokounmpo and the Bucks tip-off their 2020-21 regular season on Dec. 23 with a visit to TD Garden to face the Boston Celtics.

With Jrue Holiday running point in place of Eric Bledsoe, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will once again vie for the franchise's first NBA Finals appearance since 1974.Now that Giannis is locked in, they can pursue the championship without having to answer daily questions about his future.
