Stephen Curry did not have a good time against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.
The Golden State Warriors frontman had already been in a slump, but the Bucks more than made sure it wasn't ending on their account. Curry finished the contest with just 12 points, tied for his second-worst scoring output for the season so far on a pedestrian 4-for-11 from the field
Giannis Antetokounmpo was vocal after the game on what it takes to slow down a fellow two-time MVP in Stephen Curry.

“A guy like that, it cannot just be one person; it has to be the entire team,” the Bucks star said. “Being active, showing hands, having the mindset of multiple efforts that we have to chase tonight. He’s going to pass the ball, he’s going to get it right back, and then he’s going to dribble handoff with Klay (Thompson), or he’s going to dribble handoff with (Andrew) Wiggins, so we got to be all locked in and know that we gotta be on our toes tonight and chase.”
There are a lot of moving parts when going up against a Stephen Curry-led offense. The Warriors guard is a master of off-ball movement and deception in order to free himself up for open looks.
The Bucks are one of the rare teams with the length and defensive discipline to put up a solid front against a guy like Stephen Curry. Despite not having their best guard defender in Jrue Holiday, the Bucks threw multiple defenders at him in order to disorient him just enough for a poor showing.
