Giannis Antetokounmpo was stellar for the Milwaukee Bucks as he put up 35 points in a losing effort against the Phoenix Suns. However, it turns out that Antetokounmpo failed to hoist a single shot in the final four minutes of the tight game.

A Redditor who goes by the username of ReverendGames posted his interesting observation of the Bucks' failure to set up their superstar on the waning moments of the Suns game.

“Who doesn’t give their best player the ball (to score) in crunch time when he has been destroying all game? Giannis was one of the clutchest performers last year and he didn’t even get a shot off in the last 4 minutes of the game. Not to mention the Bucks were shooting 25% from 3 in the game and they chucked up 3 straight 3s, missed a layup, and got blocked on a layup before Giannis got the ball back in his hands to try to score.”

Antetokounmpo was red-hot on offense that night with a 14-of-16 clip from the field. He was also successful in fishing for fouls as he attempted 12 free throws and made seven. If you're Antetokounmpo's teammates, it makes all the sense of the world to isolate Giannis on offense or put him in position to score.

To make matters worse, the Bucks used Giannis as an inbounder in their last play to either tie the game or win with a 3-point shot. It would have been a bright idea for a give-and-go but with only .8 seconds left on the clock, it's totally impossible for Giannis to get the ball again.
