Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo admitted that something was missing in his life in the aftermath of the NBA's unprecedented suspension of the 2019-20 regular season.

Like the rest of his colleagues, the reigning NBA MVP was also forced to stop all basketball-related activities during the quarantine period that lasted for three months.

Antetokounmpo revealed that he felt his life didn't have a purpose during the break, per The Washington Post's Ben Golliver.

The Greek Freak and the rest of the Bucks, of course, can't wait for the season to resume after racing to a league-best 53-12 slate before the hiatus.

Although other Eastern Conference contenders also improved immensely this year, the Bucks are still the favored ones to emerge out of the East.

Milwaukee is also itching to return to the win column after dropping their last three games —  a first for the Mike Budenholzer-coached team in the 2019-20 campaign.

The long lay-off can be perceived as a blessing in disguise for the Bucks, giving superstars like Giannis ample time to recuperate for the upcoming postseason. The long break, however, also means every player must once again strive to get back to game shape to keep their conditioning and avoid injures.

The Bucks appear ready to avenge last year's Eastern Conference Finals letdown, thanks in large part to Giannis Antetokounmpo's greatness. The 6-foot-11 megastar once again improved on his freakish averages across the board, tallying MVP-worthy numbers of 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steal, and 1.0 block in 57 outings.

While pundits have already narrowed down the MVP race between Antetokounmpo and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, Giannis also revealed that the only priority he has is to win that Larry O'Brien trophy.
