The Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, but Bucks superstar swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a performance only five other players had previously authored.

Antetokounmpo finished with 52 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists in the defeat. The Greek Freak became just the sixth player since the ABA-NBA merger to record at least 50 points, 15 rebounds and five assists in a game.

The other players to record that type of stat line are Michael Jordan, Chris Webber, Anthony Davis, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook, according to Justin Kubatko of Stat Muse.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is still the front-runner to win the 2019 NBA MVP Award. Performances like the one from Sunday show just how talented and dominant he is.

The Bucks have the best record in the NBA at 52-18. They have already clinched a playoff spot.

On the season, Giannis is averaging 27.5 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game. The three-time All-Star is shooting 58.0 percent from the field, 24.9 percent from beyond the arc and 72.7 percent from the free throw line.

Antetokounmpo, 24, has 50 double-doubles and five triple-doubles on the season.

It's remarkable how Giannis is able to dominate the game without a consistent 3-point shot. The rest of the NBA is hoping Antetokounmpo never develops one, because if he does, the league will be his and his alone.
