Giannis Antetokounmpo has made his presence felt early into the regular season, scoring a career-high 44 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday in only his third game of this 2017-18 campaign. Yet the long-limbed Greek Freak doesn't believe he is done with his growth on the court.

The Milwaukee Bucks forward noted he feels like he is “on a mission” in his official blog post on EuroHoops, believing he can surpass his 44-point mark “again and again” throughout this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn't gone away from his routine, despite notching a career-high this early in the season, noting he went down to watch film the very next day, have treatment on his leg, and do his usual shooting drills to prepare for his upcoming game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The all-around Bucks star noted his personal stats are “not important if they are not accompanied by wins and good performances” for his team, saying this season would be especially important for him, his teammates, and family “for many reasons.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo has gotten plenty of praise from players and coaches around the league, even with the likes of Kevin Durant saying he has the potential to be the best player in the world if he puts his mind to it.

The 22-year-old was even challenged by Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant, who dared him to get the MVP award this season.
