Giannis Antetokounmpo was in a jovial mood on Tuesday night after taking down Joel Embiid and the Sixers in their Eastern Conference marquee matchup. So much so, that the Milwaukee Bucks superstar decided to open his post-game press conference in the most unusual way.

Giannis was literally carrying a Dad Jokes book to his post-game presser. He was clearly excited about this moment and he seemed to have prepared for this as much as he did for his MVP showdown matchup against Joel Embiid:

“I came ready,” Giannis said with a smile as he took his seat. “I came ready. Let's open up with a joke. What do you call a cow on the floor? Anybody know? Ground beef.

“That's it. Now the next one in New York.”

Giannis delivered his joke to perfection. His timing made him look like a 7-foot version of Kevin Hart. It's also hilarious that he laughed at his own joke. To be honest, the joke was pretty lame — as most dad jokes are supposed to be. However, it's the way the Bucks star delivered his joke that made it so hilarious. How can you not love Giannis Antetokounmpo?

The Bucks superstar was all business on the basketball court, though. He dropped a game-high 40 points all over Joel Embiid and Co., to go along with 14 rebounds, six assists, a steal, and three blocks in 38 minutes of action. Giannis also flexed his muscles on the defensive end, coming up with a huge game-saving block on Embiid with just 1.6 seconds remaining in the game.

This was a statement win for the Bucks, who are now one game ahead of the Sixers in the loss column. At the moment, Milwaukee remains at the second spot in the Eastern Conference. It was also an epic showdown between two of the top MVP candidates right now, with Giannis winning both the individual battle and the game. Milwaukee edged out the Sixers, 118-116.

In case you missed the last bit of Giannis' message, he did say that he's saving his next joke for New York. The Bucks will now face Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. You can be sure Antetokounmpo will be ready for that matchup — both on the court and for his post-game press conference.
