Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and combo guard Malcolm Brogdon both use the word “special” when asked to describe this year's Bucks team.

The Bucks had the best record in the NBA during the regular season and are now two wins away from reaching the NBA Finals.

“I really don’t see what people say about this team, but they’re going to say, ‘We have a chance,’” Antetokounmpo told Michael Lee of The Athletic. “We’re playing well. This is a special group that we have right here and we realize that.”

“We’ve got a really good team this year,” Brogdon said. “It’s definitely special. Honestly, I don’t think all of us on the team realize how special this is for us right now, how good we are. But I think we’ll realize it after it’s all said and done.”

The Bucks have one of the deepest teams in the league. Their starting lineup of Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez and Nikola Mirotic is as good as any starting five in the NBA.

The Bucks' bench has been equally good in the playoffs. Brogdon, George Hill, Ersan Ilyasova and Pat Connaughton always come into the game and either build on the lead the starters got or erase a deficit.

Milwaukee is the real deal folks.
