Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo says he's “not even thinking about” the MVP award.

Antetokounmpo is a finalist for the 2019 MVP award. He joins Houston Rockets star guard James Harden and Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George. The winner will be announced at the NBA awards show on June 24.

Giannis is still upset about the Bucks falling short of their goal. Milwaukee was the No.1 seed in the playoffs, but they lost to the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals in six games after taking a 2-0 series lead.

During the regular season, Antetokounmpo averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists while shooting 57.8 percent from the floor and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line.

It's going to take some time for Giannis to get over the loss to the Raptors. After all, the Bucks looked well on their way to advancing to the NBA Finals. This is just a small setback for Antetokounmpo, who will use this as motivation to get better in the summer and come back with a vengeance next season.

The MVP award will come down to Giannis and Harden. Many believe the Bucks star will win since he guided his team to 60 wins and the best record during the regular season.
