Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is available to play for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Greek Freak will also be starting the game after missing their past two outings due to a hyperextended left knee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't play in Games and 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks due to the knee issue he sustained in Game 4. There were even fears he would be out of the postseason, with Chris Bosh saying that it's unlikely for Giannis to return based on the experience he had with the same injury.

However, Giannis' return got a boost after recent reports said the Bucks forward is doing everything he can to be able to play in the opener of his first Finals appearance. He was initially listed as doubtful for the contest, though as Game 1 got closer, he became a game-time decision.

It remains to be seen if there will be some kind of limitation to Giannis' minutes considering it is always tricky to return from a knee injury. However, it is best to expect the Bucks to be cautious about his condition and playing time in order to avoid reaggravating the injury.

Of course, Bucks fans are wishing Antetokounmpo is already at 100 percent, but for now, they can only be thankful to see him healthy, bouncy, and back in action.
