The Giannis Antetokounmpo-Jabari Parker tandem with the Milwaukee Bucks didn’t quite work the first time around, but the reigning MVP says he is willing to try once more.

Parker — who’s now on his fourth team, Atlanta Hawks, since leaving Wisconsin in 2018 – recently claimed that he would be open to returning to the Bucks someday.

Antetokounmpo seems to reciprocate the sentiment, claiming that every player who ever played for Milwaukee loves the organization.

Per Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Giannis said that he would welcome former teammates like Parker, Maker, and Delly, among others, if they decide to come back.

The Bucks defeated the Hawks, 111-102, at the Fiserv Forum on Wednesday. The Greak Freak led the way for the Bucks with 30 points, 10 boards, and four dimes, while Parker dropped a season-high 33 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists in a losing effort.

Since taking over the Hawks’ starting power forward position from the suspended John Collins, Parker has scored 20 or more points in five of the team’s last 10 games.

He is averaging 17.8 points (the highest of his career since the 2016-17 season with Milwaukee) on 51.8 percent shooting from the field and 29.2 percent from three. Parker is also notching 6.6 boards, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals in 18 games for Atlanta.

Parker signed a two-year, $13.5 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks in the offseason. People tend to forget that he is just 24 years old, and still has plenty of basketball left in him after recovering from two ACL tears on his left knee.

Collins, meanwhile, will be eligible to return on December 23, and it will be interesting to see how the Hawks will handle their minutes moving forward.
