For some reason that probably has something to do with effective agenting, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will become a playable character in an update to EA Sports' Madden 21.

The back-t0-back MVP will be joined by two of his brothers — Kostas, a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and on the verge of his first title, and Thanasis, who plays with Giannis in Milwaukee — in the latest iteration of the iconic video game franchise.

Beginning on Thursday, the Antetokounmpos will be available to use in Madden‘s new “The Yard” mode, which is essentially a hybrid of NFL Street and backyard football.

The Madden NFL 21 Twitter account teased “The Yard” crossover with the Antetokounmpos on Wednesday.

On Thursday, EA made the announcement official with a video announcing the collaboration. The Bucks superstar will also make appearances in the game's “Superstar KO” mode.

The brothers will wear gear that pays tribute to their upbringing in Greece (you can check out some images via Uproxx).

The crossover will mark the first time NBA players show up in a Madden game.

At 6'11, 242 pounds with a 7'3 wingspan and the largest hands in the world (fact), the 2020 Defensive Player of the Year should be a formidable force on both sides of the ball, depending on his skill ratings. Kostas measures at 6'10, 200 pounds, while Thanasis comes in at 6'6, 219 pounds.

It's undoubtedly a cool experience for the Antetokounmpo Bros., but their inclusion comes in a down year for the franchise. The '21 version received relatively poor reception from critics and fans alike, in part due to production issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic. (As somebody who has admittedly played way too many hours of Madden 21, I can personally attest to its mediocrity and unfinished feel.)

Hopefully, Madden Giannis Antetokounmpo has a specialty giant EuroStep move.
