Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was awfully surprised when he found out his longtime girlfriend, Mariah Danae, was a Los Angeles Lakers fan growing up.
During an Instagram Live video, the reigning MVP was shocked when Danae confessed she bled purple-and-gold as a kid.
“I was a Lakers fan growing up,” said Danae before seeing her boyfriend Giannis turn back in absolute shock.
“I said growing up,” she added, clarifying once again.
“Oh no, I gotta stop Live now,” the Bucks superstar in response. “Oh hell no. Oh hell no.”

The Greek Freak recently split the series with the Lakers and has LeBron James as the main rival to repeating as the NBA's Most Valuable Player.
The Bucks and Lakers lead their respective conferences and are the likely picks to end up in the NBA Finals, whenever the 2019-20 season does resume.
This revelation surely comes as a shock for Antetokounmpo, who has praised his girlfriend for her avid support. Yet in all fairness, there couldn't have been a good answer besides saying she didn't follow the sport before they met.

This should come as no surprise to Giannis, but his snap-like reaction surely makes this video all the more precious.
