Earlier this week, Nick Kyrgios — a star tennis player — dropped a bombshell when he shared that Giannis Antetokounmpo smiled when asked about the prospects of joining the Miami Heat. While he remains with the Milwaukee Bucks, reacted to Kyrgios revealing the details of their conversation.

Of course, the future of Giannis is one of the most interesting storylines in the NBA right now. The lengthy forward has become one of the premier stars in the league, winning back-to-back MVP awards with the Bucks.

But with Milwaukee falling short in the playoffs in four consecutive seasons, it is well-known that he could be on the move soon. Even though a trade seems unlikely at this point, Giannis could become an unrestricted free agent following the 2020-2021 season.

Despite the ongoing rumors of him leaving them, the Bucks remain confident that Giannis will sign the supermax extension with the organization before the upcoming season. However, unless Milwaukee makes a blockbuster move, it's hard to envision him remaining with the Bucks beyond 2020.

On the other hand, the Heat have remained a team that has been hot on Giannis' trail since it became known that Antetokounmpo could test free agency in 2021. As a matter of fact, Miami's main focus in 2021 is reportedly to lure Giannis to South Beach.

Following Miami's trip to the NBA Finals this past season, led by Jimmy Butler, the Heat have become a popular landing spot for stars in the NBA. While Giannis used laughing emojis to Kyrgios for revealing the news — whether it be true or a joke by Kyrgios — the idea of him joining Miami becomes more likely if he decides to refrain from signing an extension this offseason.
