Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo made headlines not just for his stellar performance in their overtime win against the Philadelphia 76ers, but also for his sit-down celebration. After the game, the two-time MVP explained what triggered him to unveil the interesting taunt.

A reporter asked if Antetokounmpo was mimicking a football celebration, being that he's a big fan of the sport. However, the Greek Freak admitted that he hasn't seen such a thing. It simply dawned on him to sit down after going on a 7-0 personal run in overtime.

“That's what I wanted to do at that time. I haven't seen it. As I said, I was just trying to have fun, trying to enjoy the moment. At the end of the day, win or lose you can't take this moment back. At that time, the moment was in our favor and I tried to enjoy as much as I can,” the Bucks star shared.

Here's the clip below of the Greek Freak's dominance in the overtime period. Of course, there's the now-infamous sit-down celebration. It was as if he was saying that he owns the Sixers on their very own home floor.

Most Sixers fans were definitely irked by Giannis Antetokounmpo's antics. After the game, big man Dwight Howard admitted that he wanted to pull a wrestling move on the Bucks superstar.

“I wanted to go and Stone Cold Stunner him, but I already had one tech,” he said, per the Associated Press via ESPN. “He had a hell of a game. I don’t want to talk trash or say anything negative, but we’ll see him again.

The Bucks are now on a five-game winning streak. They will head back home to face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
