LeBron James won't be the only one missing out on a showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks, as franchise star Giannis Antetokounmpo will sit tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Malika Andrews of ESPN.

Antetokounmpo suffered a right ankle sprain during a career-high 52-point explosion in a 130-125 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Sterling Brown, Donte DiVincenzo and Pau Gasol will also miss Tuesday's game with their respective injuries, making this a battle of mere depth after the team prepares to play without Malcolm Brogdon for the next six-to-eight weeks.

The Bucks made the signing of point guard Tim Frazier official today, likely to get a few minutes of playing time at some point this week once he's gotten physical clearance to join his new teammates.

Milwaukee holds a 2.5 game advantage over the second-place Toronto Raptors for the Eastern Conference crown, but with only 12 games remaining in the season, the Bucks will hope to secure the top seed even with out-of-conference games like this one against a depleted Lakers team playing without James, Lonzo Ball or Brandon Ingram.

The Lakers have only won two of their last 10 games and are more inclined to punt than to win at this point, with their chances of making the playoffs all but mathematically over at this point of the 2018-19 campaign.
