The Milwaukee Bucks came away with another lopsided victory against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night to secure a 2-0 advantage in their first-round playoffs matchup. As it turns out, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was not feeling one hundred percent in this one, and the 24-year-old later admitted that it was the general body pain he had been experiencing which caused some frustration during the contest.

Despite his apparent limitations, Giannis still stuffed the stat sheet, accounting for 26 points (on 11-of-18 shooting), one three-pointer, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. He did turn the ball over five times, though, so that was a bit of a sour patch on his otherwise stellar performance. Antetokounmpo logged only 30 minutes in Game 2, which is a bit lower than his season average of 32.8 minutes per ballgame.

Giannis got a lot of help from fellow All-Star forward Khris Middleton (24 points, five rebounds, eight assists) and guard Eric Bledsoe (game-high 27 points on 11-of-19 from the floor, six assists, three steals), while fourth-year shooting guard Pat Connaughton (18 points, nine rebound) also put forth a commendable performance off the Milwaukee bench.

The Pistons, on the other hand, who were still missing the services of their star Blake Griffin (knee soreness) was led by big man Andre Drummond who put in an 18-point, 16-rebound double-double with a couple of assists and a couple of blocks.

The series will now shift to Detroit for Game 3 which is slated to take place on Saturday.
