The Milwaukee Bucks produced an extraordinary performance on Friday against the Miami Heat as they secured a huge comeback victory in the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami. Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was extremely pleased with how his team battled back to come out with a 113-98 victory, and following the win, the 24-year-old explained why these are the types of games that define teams.

“It doesn't matter if you're down 20, 15, 10,” said Antetokounmpo, via ESPN. “We're going to keep playing hard. It's a process. You've got to win games like this. You've got to face adversity when you're playing on the road. In the playoffs, it's not going to be easy. We want to be a great team and that's why we keep playing hard.”

The Bucks got off to an extremely slow start in this one, as they gave up 37 points to a surging Heat side in the first quarter alone. By halftime, Giannis and company were staring at a seemingly insurmountable 20-point deficit.

However, the Bucks came out a completely different team after the break. They returned the favor to the Heat and outscored them 37-18 in the third period. The onslaught would not end there, as Milwaukee poured on another 38 points in the final frame, as they came away with an unlikely 15-point victory by the end of regulation.

Antetokounmpo led by example in this one, notching a game-high 33 points on 12-of-19 shooting, along with a three-pointer, 16 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and three blocks.

As Giannis said, this is exactly the type of grit and never-say-die spirit the Bucks will need to exhibit if they wish to have an extended run in the postseason.
