For the first time in 41 years, the Milwaukee Bucks will be playing on Christmas Day and Bucks superstar swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo is excited to be part of the festivities.

The Bucks will be in The Big Apple taking on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the NBA, so the league did a good job of making sure The Greek Freak will be playing on Christmas.

“It’s real special. We’re really excited about this game,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said, via Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “The Bucks haven’t played in a long time in a Christmas game, so we’re happy that we’re back.

“Since I came to the NBA, I was always watching the Christmas games, always dreaming about playing in one. … It means a lot to us and hopefully we can put on a show.”

The Bucks have a record of 22-10 on the season, which is good for second place in the Eastern Conference. Giannis Antetokounmpo is putting up monster numbers, averaging 26.2 points, 12.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game on the season while shooting 58.3 percent from the floor and 70.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The last time Giannis Antetokounmpo was at MSG, Knicks forward Mario Hezonja stepped over The Greek Freak after a dunk. Giannis said postgame he was going to get Hezonja back the next time they play. It is going to be a fun Christmas game at the World's Most Famous Arena.
