Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo got into it with Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin a few times on Wednesday. Milwaukee forward Khris Middleton confronted Griffin after the former high-flyer bumped and stepped over Giannis.

Antetokounmpo, who torched the Pistons for 35 points, says Middleton having his back “means a lot.”

“It means a lot,” Antetokounmpo said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “I was on the floor, so I didn’t see exactly what happened because a lot of people were in front of me, but I saw Khris going out there defending me.

“That’s my big bro over there. For me, actually, that means a lot. I always had his back, but now I have his back even more. I appreciate that.”

The Bucks improved to 19-3 on the season and have won 13 games in a row. Giannis could very well win the MVP award again. The Greek Freak is averaging 31.0 points, 13.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game for the Bucks while shooting 56.5 percent from the field, 31.8 percent from beyond the arc and 59.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Milwaukee is a very close-knit group. Everyone gets along on and off the court and Antetokounmpo doesn't have an ego despite being one of the best players in the world.

All signs point to the Bucks going on another deep playoff run this season.
