Game 1 of the second-round series matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets delivered as expected. There was no shorrtage of incredible highlight plays throughout the contest, with superstars on both teams showing up for the respective sides.

Late in the second quarter, a clash between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant led to the reigning back-to-back MVP emphatically swatting away a KD lay-up attempt. The block was so forceful that it ended up sending Durant to the floor (h/t Bucks on Twitter):

For a second there it looked like Durant was in the clear. He effortlessly blew by Giannis and he appeared to be well on his way to a quick deuce. The Bucks superstar, however, came out of nowhere to swat KD's shot from behind. Milwaukee came away with the rock, while Durant was left lying on the ground. KD didn't exactly have the best of starts in this one.

There's going to be a lot more of this matchup in the coming days/weeks, with the individual battle between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant serving as one of the biggest storylines of this second-round series. Time to fasten your seatbelts folks, this is definitely going to be a good one.
