Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks took down Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets in an epic showdown. It was one of the most entertaining games so far this season as Giannis and Durant went back and forth.

Giannis finished with a season high 49 points for the Bucks while Durant finished with 42. Giannis showed ultimate respect to Durant in his post game interview as he praised him for being one of the greatest scorers ever.

Bucks – Nets very much felt like a playoff game as the intensity was high. You could see the elite play of Antetokounmpo and Durant brought out the best in each other. Durant missed a potential game tying three pointer as the buzzer sounded to cap the marquee matchup.

These teams could meet in the playoffs which would make for a thrilling series. It is still unknown when Nets star James Harden will return to the court but he will make this matchup with the Bucks even more intriguing should it come to pass.

The amount of star power that could exist in this series would make it unforgettable. The back-to-back MVP, Giannis, paired with All-Star teammates Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday for the Bucks, would go up against a superstar big three of Durant, Harden, and Kyrie Irving.

Even when Harden comes back the Nets need to figure out a plan to guard Giannis should they meet the Bucks in the postseason. Giannis had 49 points on 58 percent shooting including four three-pointers.

However the seeding works out in the East, NBA fans should hope to see the Bucks play the Nets in the playoffs.
