Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will have his Nike signature shoe released on July 3, 2019.

The Nike ‘Freak 1' comes in a traditional black and white colorway (with more colorways), with the number 34 located at the back of the heel. The signature Nike swoosh appears backwards on the side of the shoe.

“Building on the energy of the NBA playoffs, Giannis will cap off his incredible season with the reveal of his first signature shoe,” Nike CEO Mark Parker said earlier this year, via Ella Chochrek of Footwear News.

While the Bucks lost to the Raptors 4-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals, it doesn't take anything away from the greatness Antetokounmpo displayed this season.

In 72 games, The Greek Freak averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists. Milwaukee earned its way to the best record in the NBA at 60-22 and to the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

The performance of Antetokounmpo has garnered the attention of all NBA fans, as well as many saying that he deserves to be named the league MVP.

Antetokounmpo joins a stacked group of athletes with their own signature shoes, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Paul George. With the shoe being released in early July, it looks like we won't be able to see Giannis in them until the 2019 regular season.
