Through the first seven games of the season, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is shooting just 60.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Shooting has never been Antetokounmpo's strong suit, but his free-throw shooting has been worse than usual this season. The reigning MVP airballed two free-throws in a row against the Boston Celtics, a sequence The Greek Freak wants to make sure never happens again.

“It’s too early,” said Antetokounmpo, who is averaging a career-high 10 free throws per game, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “I just gotta keep shooting, keep believing in myself, keep believing in my work. And it’s going to go in.

“There’s nothing more I can say because you cannot overthink free throws. Once you start overthinking it, you shoot two air balls in a row.”

As we all know, Antetokounmpo does most of his damage at the rim. He's shooting just 17.4 percent from beyond the arc on the season.

Free-throw and perimeter shooting are two aspects of Antetokounmpo's game he has to improve if the Bucks want to win it all this season.

After defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, the Bucks improved to 5-2 on the season. Giannis is averaging 27.7 points, 14.0 rebounds and 7.4 assists.

The Bucks are hoping Antetokounmpo's shooting splits will improve as the season goes along.
