Giannis said:
“You know it was tough. First Game 7 that I ever played. The most important thing that I think I took away from that game is that it takes a lot to go to the second round. It's not going to be easy. You've gotta fight til the last moment and I think my team did. I think we played great against Boston. I thought we were the better team but at the end of the day, you know, we didn't go to the second round. We've gotta learn from it and move forward.”
The best player on a winning team has to be confident. Giannis is exactly that. His team fell to the Celtics and were outplayed in the series, but Giannis still thinks his team was better. He'll need to use that loss as motivation for the coming season.
Many forget about the Bucks in the conversation for the best teams in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia 76ers are in the conversation, but the Bucks are capable of making a run in the weak East.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks could have a shot at revenge against the Celtics in the playoffs sooner rather than later.
