Milwaukee Bucks star Jrue Holiday has been battling an ankle injury as of late, which has resulted in him missing the last four games for the reigning champions. He's a crucial piece of this Bucks team on both ends of the floor and they'd love to have the guard back in the mix. However, that raises the question. Is Jrue Holiday playing vs Raptors?

Is Jrue Holiday playing vs Raptors

Unfortunately, Holiday will miss his fifth consecutive game on Saturday night for Milwaukee. While this ankle problem isn't expected to be serious, the Bucks are being cautious, especially because it's not even the All-Star Break yet. The 31-year-old has featured in 33 of a possible 44 games this season and previously missed time because of COVID-19 and a sprained left ankle, the same injury that is bothering him again now.

The Bucks veteran is putting together a solid campaign, averaging 18.4 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.6 rebounds on a 38% clip from three-point range. Since he's been out of the lineup, Mike Budenholzer's squad is 2-2, including a blowout win over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night at home.

There's no doubt that his impact is missed, especially from a defensive standpoint. But, the Bucks will need to get by with him for the time being. If Giannis and Khris Middleton continue to step up, they should be fine. Donte DiVincenzo and George Hill should keep seeing increased minutes as well.

In the long run, the Bucks need Holiday healthy. It's an absolute must. There is absolutely no question they are slightly concerned that he's re-aggravated the same injury from earlier in the season therefore being cautious is the right way to go about it.

So to answer the question: Is Jrue Holiday playing tonight? That's going to be a no.
