The Milwaukee Bucks are set to face off against the Miami Heat in the first round of playoffs in what should be a fiery matchup between two formidable sides out East. Bucks guard Jrue Holiday has decided to make the narrative a bit more interesting by taking a jab at Miami's chances against his Bucks.

According to Holiday, he firmly believes that his team is more talented than the Heat (h/t Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel):

This might actually be true — on paper, at least. The fact that the Bucks have the reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in Giannis Antetokounmpo on their roster already gives them a significant advantage over any opponent. They also have a two-time All-Star in Khris Middleton, as well as two All-Defense studs in Holiday himself and Brook Lopez.

The Heat, however, are no pushovers. They might not be the most talent-packed squad in the league, but what they lack in star power, they certainly make up for in attitude.

We all know what happened last season when these two squads faced off in the second round of the playoffs. To some extent, the Bucks underestimated an underdog Miami side, and it resulted in catastrophe for Milwaukee. The Bucks now have the benefit of hindsight and will do everything they can to avoid another upset. Needless to say, a first-round exit for Milwaukee will simply be unacceptable. There are just no two ways about that.
