Milwaukee Bucks small forward Khris Middleton is considered one of the most underrated players in the NBA. A sound two-way wing, Middleton has been steady all season for the Bucks, who finished with the best record during the regular season and are currently up 2-0 against the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the playoffs.

Despite his consistent play, though, Middleton doesn't get a lot of hype from the media. Most players who average 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists would be upset if they didn't get the attention from the public.

Not Middleton, who says he's perfectly fine with staying under the radar.

“That’s fine with me,” Middleton told Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I’m pretty mellow as long as we win. Just play my part. I know I’m going to get a lot of great looks through the offense. Threes, occasional post-ups, pick-and-rolls every now and then. Just be patient. They need me to be ready when my opportunities come.”

The Bucks value Middleton a lot and that's all that matters to the swingman. Milwaukee is looking to advance to the second round of the playoffs this season for the first time since 2001. For that to happen, Middleton needs to keep playing the same way he has all season.

Middleton becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Bucks. It would be a surprise to see Milwaukee not re-sign him.
