Milwaukee Bucks starting forward Khris Middleton was undoubtedly the biggest star in the top overall seed's lineup tonight. The 29-year-old stepped up big time as he rallied the troops with a monster stat line on Sunday night to save Milwaukee's season.

Middleton was the Bucks' Game 4 savior, dropping 36 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists as he almost single-handedly propelled Milwaukee to a crucial 118-115 overtime win against the Miami Heat. With his epic performance, the two-time All-Star joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in franchise history to notch at least 35 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in a playoff game, per StatMuse.

It's not every day you get to join the great KAJ in the history books. But for Middleton, the W was definitely his biggest takeaway from Game 4.

It seemed as though the season was about to end for the Bucks as they lost reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo early in Game 4 after he tweaked his ankle. However, Middleton took it upon himself to carry the load for his squad.

Khris Middleton exploded for 21 points in the third quarter and was key for Milwaukee down the stretch. As the game was pushed to an extra period, the swingman made sure to take the burden for the Bucks and took over in overtime with nine huge points—including a crucial three with ten seconds to go to keep the Heat at bay. He had an efficient shooting clip of 42.8% (3-of-7 from deep) and even added a pair of steals in 48 minutes for the Bucks.

The Bucks might need a Kareem-like performance again from Middleton if they want to extend their series past Game 5 on Tuesday, especially if their MVP isn't at 100%.
