Milwaukee Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon played in just seven of the Bucks' 15 playoff games this season due to a foot injury that kept him sidelined for about two months.

It marked the second straight year that Brogdon had an injury going into the playoffs, as last season, he returned just in time for Milwaukee' first-round series against the Boston Celtics.

But this time around, Brogdon felt better both physically and mentally:

“This time versus the last time I was injured and came back in the playoffs, I think I grew a lot,” said Brogdon, according to Malika Andrews of ESPN. “I showed myself I could come back and play at a high level right back off of injury.”

The catch for both Brogdon and the Bucks this summer, however, is that he will be a restricted free agent, and with Milwaukee also wanting to re-sign Khris Middleton and others, it might be tough for the Bucks to keep both players because of luxury tax concerns.

Right now, however, Brogdon isn't really thinking about free agency, per Andrews, saying that “we'll see” when it comes to his decision. He's currently focused on improving and losing some weight this summer.

The 26-year-old played in 64 games this season, averaging 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists over 28.6 minutes per game while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor, 42.6 percent from 3-point range and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line, a truly remarkable achievement.

Malcolm Brogdon, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Virginia, was originally selected by the Bucks in the second round (36th pick overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft.
