The Milwaukee Bucks will be without combo guard Malcolm Brogdon for Games 1 and 2 against the Boston Celtics.

Brogdon suffered a minor plantar fascia tear in his right foot back on March 15:

Game 1 of the Bucks-Celtics series is on Sunday. Milwaukee went 2-1 versus Boston in the regular season.

Brogdon played in 64 games during the regular season for the Bucks, who had the best record in the NBA. He averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor, 42.6 percent from beyond the arc and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The 2017 Rookie of the Year, Brogdon led the NBA in free-throw shooting during the regular season and was tied for eighth in 3-point percentage. He's a big part of what the Bucks do on offense and defense. Milwaukee is hoping Brogdon can play in Games 3 and 4, which will be in Boston.

The Bucks-Celtics series is going to be a good one. The Celtics aren't your ordinary No. 4 seed. They have one of the best players and closers in the game in star point guard Kyrie Irving, two All-Stars in center Al Horford and small forward Gordon Hayward, and two high-flying youngsters in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

The Bucks swept the Detroit Pistons in the first round. It was their first playoff series win since 2001.
