It's been a tough season for Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo. The former Villanova guard sustained an ankle injury during the playoffs last year, requiring a long rehab that stretched into this year's campaign. DiVincenzo recently rolled his ankle ahead of warmups before the Bucks' most recent game on Saturday. Milwaukee then got a concerning update on DiVincenzo on Monday.

Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo is expected to miss multiple weeks after rolling his left ankle while warming up ahead of his team's Jan. 1 game, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Jim Owczarski.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Bucks reporter Jim Owczarski reports that guard Donte DiVincenzo is expected to miss multiple weeks. That's a tough blow for a Bucks team that just had the young wing return to action on Christmas Day.

DiVincenzo had appeared in just three games for the Bucks this year. The fourth-year pro seemed to take a step forward last season, as he averaged 10.4 points and over a steal per game while draining 2.0 three-pointers per contest.

Milwaukee will need wing players such as Pat Connaughton and Grayson Allen, who have both enjoyed solid seasons, to continue to step up with DiVincenzo on the shelf.

The Bucks will have to continue their ascent up the Eastern Conference standings without a key contributor in Donte DiVincenzo.
