Bogdan Bodanovic will not be a member of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the Bucks are moving on from their pursuit of the Sacramento Kings swingman after a sign-and-trade between the two teams fell through earlier this week.
Bogdanovic—a restricted fee agent—will field offers from other teams.
The Bucks are moving on from their pursuit of restricted free agent Bogdan Bogdanovic, who will scan market across league, sources tell me and @sam_amick.

The sign-and-trade fell apart quickly after it appeared the Bucks landed Jrue Holiday and Bogdanovic on the same day.
Milwaukee was slated to send Donte DiVincenzo, D.J. Wilson and Ersan Ilyasova to Sacramento in exchange for Bogdanovic, who purportedly would reach an agreement with the Bucks thereafter.
However, Sam Amick of The Athletic reported Bogdanovic never agreed to join the Bucks as part of the trade. Milwaukee tried desperately to save the deal, but it stalled. Bogdanovic set his sights on free agency immediately thereafter.
As it stands, source says the Bogdan-to-Milwaukee scenario is off the table from his vantage point. The Bucks have been hopeful that it could be saved, but all signs point to him heading elsewhere ultimately. https://t.co/HrFzxKuywW

There also was another element to the trade that wasn't, so to speak.
Sign-and-trades have become especially common with respect to unrestricted free agents. But it had never really been done before with someone who was restricted.
Marc Stein of the New York Times was among those to report the league was investigating the sign-and-trade between the two clubs.
The NBA has opened an investigation of the reported transaction involving Milwaukee and Sacramento that was to send Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Bucks via sign-and-trade after Friday's scheduled start of free agency, @NYTSports has learned

However, it all appears somewhat moot now.
The Bucks waived Ilyasova on Thursday, and it appears they will not even submit an offer sheet to Bogdanovic and his reps.
It remains to be seen where Milwaukee goes from here, though the first order of business—when free agency opens—will be to offer Giannis Antetokounmpo the supermax extension.
But in terms of external options, the Bucks will have to look elsewhere to improve the roster.
