Get excited, Milwaukee Bucks fans. The return to an NBA court of former No. 2 overall pick in forward Jabari Parker just got that much closer on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a post from the Bucks' official Twitter account, Parker was recalled from Milwaukee's G League affiliate after he practiced with the Wisconsin Herd on Monday.

In a November article written by Steve Aschburner of NBA.com, Parker opened up about his knee rehabilitation and compared both ACL recovery processes he’s had to endure in such a short time.

“I don’t find this very different,” Parker said. “Just things that I learned have been fundamental for me going forward. The only difference is that I know what I’m going through. From there, second time’s a charm.”

In 50 starts during the 2016-17 season, Parker averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game in 33.9 minutes of action per contest. Unfortunately for Parker, he tore his left ACL on Feb. 8 against the Miami Heat and then underwent surgery to repair his knee on Feb. 14.

With Parker’s return from his knee rehabilitation, the Bucks will become that much more dangerous for other teams to deal with down the stretch of the season. Cheers to a healthy 2017-18 NBA season for Jabari.
