It was announced a few weeks ago that LeBron James would be the cover athlete for the anniversary edition of NBA 2K19, but there have not even been any hints about who would grace the normal game cover.
It appears that, on Saturday night, that exact information might have been accidentally leaked, and if it's correct, it means that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to be the man. According to Forbes the image appeared on the NBA 2K18 main menu splash advertisement page but was quickly removed. A Twitter user was able to grab a shot of the image, and it appears like some of the covers that 2K has been using in the past.

It also seems to follow the same layout that they used for James cover this year. Using words that are important to the Greek Freak himself, it's possible he chose the words he wanted around there. Antetokounmpo is a deserving guy to be on the cover, and it will be a popular pick for the international fans of the game, especially the fans in Greece.
Giannis also picked up another recognition this offseason. He was dominated by the ESPY's for best NBA player, for the first time in his career.
It's going to be hard to imagine him winning the award with some of the other players nominated, but it's not hard to imagine a world where the Greek Freak is the best player in the world in a few years.
