The votes have been tallied for the NBA's annual GM survey, and when it comes to this season's favorite to lift the MVP award, a great majority of general managers believe that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannins Antetokounmpo will repeat as this year's Most Valuable Player.

It was a landslide victory for the reigning MVP, as Giannis secured 52% of the vote. Tied in second place are Golden State Warriors two-time MVP Stephen Curry, Los Angeles Lakers newcomer Anthony Davis, and new Los Angeles Clippers recruit Kawhi Leonard — all of whom settled for just 10% of the vote apiece.

Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic rounded out the top five with 7% of the vote, while guys like James Harden, LeBron James (last year's survey winner), and Damian Lillard also received votes.

At 24 and now entering his seventh season in the league, many expect Antetokounmpo to remain the most dominant player in the game. In fact, there is even some belief that the 6-foot-11 forward might further elevate his game this season. Honestly, it's just scary to think about it at this point.

It is also worth noting that Giannis also emerged as the top vote-getter for the player GMs would prefer to theoretically start their franchise with right now. This was even more of a landslide, with Antetokounmpo garnering a whopping 86% of the vote. He was also the winner of this particular question last year, but just got 30% of the vote. Obviously, his MVP-winning season did wonders to impress more than a few general managers.
