Things got a little chippy during the Saturday night contest between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Veteran forwards Taurean Prince of the Timberwolves and Serge Ibaka of the Bucks got into a heated altercation. That's when Patrick Beverley charged in to shove Ibaka, which resulted in George Hill dishing a shove right back at Pat Bev.

Check out the testy sequence below:

Both players were slapped with technical fouls and were immediately ejected from the contest, which was still in the first quarter of play when the incident occurred.

The NBA came down with punishments for both veteran guards. Beverley was slapped with a $20,000 fine while Hill got off a little easier with a $15,000 bill.

New York, March 22, 2022 – Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley has been fined $20,000 and Milwaukee Bucks guard George Hill has been fined $15,000 for their roles in an on-court altercation, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations.

Patrick Beverley is no stranger to getting tangled up in some heated situations. But Bucks veteran George Hill, on the other hand, is known for being a much more level-headed player.

However, in the heat of the moment both players clearly wanted to defend their respective teammates to a fault.
