Shabazz Muhammad has agreed to a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, signifying his return to the team.

As per Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports:

The Bucks acquired him last year where he played 11 regular season games. He logged in 8.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest. He also played four playoff games in the Bucks' short postseason run.

Muhammad was selected 14th overall by the Utah Jazz back in 2013 and was then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night. The UCLA product struggled to find consistency in his first year in the league and was sent to the G League to polish his skills.

By his second season, he averaged 13.5 points per game and was even selected to participate in the Rising Stars Challenge. But his campaign was cut short after a torn ligament in his middle finger forced him to go under the knife.

He bounced back the following season and played all 82 games. But by then, the likes of Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns were quickly developing. Their combined talents took the limelight away from Muhammad. And as the years progressed, the Timberwolves were keen on moving towards the direction of Wiggins and Towns as their focal point.

Come 2018, they waived Muhammad. Good thing he was immediately picked up by the Bucks. Though he saw limited action last season, his fresh contract could signify a brand new beginning for the 25-year-old.
