The NBA has been involved with the WWE for a while now. Many of the NBA players from the past and present were featured in WWE shows. None of them have gone on to perform as full-time professional wrestlers, though. Some players, like Enes Kanter, however, have hinted at a future in the organization.

Looking at NBA teams other than the Boston Celtics, where Kanter plays, there is some potential in the works. One who comes to mind immediately when wrestling and the NBA is concerned? The Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks famously started games with a simulation of WWE fights, and used their overwhelming size and physicality to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy last season.

Here are the two Bucks players who would make the greatest WWE Superstars.

Bucks potential WWE Superstars

Giannis Antetokounmpo

The first player is really a no-brainer. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a fan of the WWE since childhood. Even though he is a fan of the Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff Hardy, it is hard to envision the Bucks superstar as that type of wrestler. Still, there are many reasons, other than his huge fandom of the organization, why Antetokounmpo could be a future WWE Superstar.

His international background comes first. Born in Greece to Nigerian parents, Antetokounmpo gives WWE writers ready-made potential storylines. Many in the WWE past have used their backgrounds as the basis for their personalities and characters. Kofi Kingston, one of the best recent wrestlers, famously used a completely made-up Jamaican character to go through the ranks in professional wrestling. Without even having to make it up, the Bucks forward could be a potential global megastar for the wrestling organization due to his international roots.

Antetokounmpo's unbelievable blend of size and athleticism is a major factor, too. Usually, bigger WWE superstars, like The Undertaker or Big Show, use their size to intimidate and dominate their opponents. Antetokounmpo's physical traits would be jsut as unprecedented in the WWE as they are in the NBA He also showcased some of his moves during Bucks pre-game rituals, making him an even more intriguing potential pro wrestler.

Antetokounmpo's love for wrestling is the ultimate reason, however, why everyone would love to see him performing in the WWE. Antetokounmpo shows a lot of passion for the Bucks on the court, so if he can translate that into the WWE ring, that would be amazing to watch. He is generally entertaining, with good size and excellent athleticism, all with passion for the culture of professional wrestling. It really sounds like a perfect mix, in theory.

Brook Lopez

It's not very likely due to persistent back issues that continue to sideline him, but Brook Lopez would be fascinating in the ring. He's not very mobile and does look awkward at times when he moves. However, he would have amazing potential in the WWE for a few reasons. He's huge with obvious charisma, and even dating back to his Brooklyn Nets days, before the Bucks stint, Lopez is generally loveable.

Lopez's biggest advantage would be chemistry with his brother. Robin Lopez was on the Bucks roster last season and he also showcased some wrestling skills in the Bucks pre-game rituals. Truth be told, it is tough to sell one Lopez brother to the WWE without the other. Brother or family tag teams are generally well accepted. The aforementioned Hardy Boyz, beloved by Antetokounmpo, are proof of that concept in the WWE.

One thing that also goes for both Brook and Robin Lopez is the fact they are both quite tall. Usually, tag teams include one smaller wrestler, combined with an imposing figure. Obviously, there are exceptions, but that's the general idea. This means the Bucks and Orlando Magic centers would fill a niche rarely seen, making them even more popular among the WWE fanbase.

Brook Lopez's unique personality would make him all the more popular in the WWE. The Bucks veteran could be a guy who is a perennial face, a hero in the wrestling world. All of the details mentioned above are relevant, but none so much as the fact there are not many NBA fans who dislike Lopez. He plays cleanly, does not raise controversy and while his mic work might need some training, he could slide right into the professional wrestling world.
