Despite his crowded schedule as part of TNT‘s Area 21 segment and his role as consultant for the L.A. Clippers, Kevin Garnett still finds time to mentor those he’s chosen to take under his wing throughout the first years of their NBA dream.
The 7-foot-1 forward/center is a slightly taller, lankier version of what Garnett was coming into the NBA in 1995, resembling many areas of his game. Naturally, the Big Ticket has been more than willing to take upon mentoring him through one-on-one workouts.

The 41-year-old might not have the legs to go through the everyday grind of an NBA season, but he still remains a gym rat one way or another. If Maker can soak in some of Garnett’s mastery in the post — the Bucks length with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker, along with the talented rookie can start to make waves as one of the most lethally athletic frontcourts in the league.
