Through 28 games of the 2017-18 NBA season, the Milwaukee Bucks are currently 15-13, which is the eighth-best record in the Eastern Conference. Despite a monster season from Giannis Antetokounmpo and acquiring Eric Bledsoe, the Bucks have not been able to take the next step yet in their development.

As the Bucks are planning for a February return for Jabari Parker and linked with DeAndre Jordan if the Los Angeles Clippers ultimately trade him, they reportedly will make a roster move according to Chris Haynes of ESPN:

As Gary Payton II's 45 days as a two-way player comes to an end, Sean Kilpatrick was recently released following the Brooklyn Nets acquiring Jahlil Okafor and Nik Stauskas from the Philadelphia 76ers. While Kilpatrick played limited minutes in 16 games this season for head coach Kenny Atkinson, he averages 11.3 points and 3.1 rebounds for his career.

While it remains to be seen what Kilpatrick's role will be for head coach Jason Kidd, the Bucks are looking to snap their three-game losing streak. However, it does not get any easier as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have won 17 out of their last 18 games.
